From the Parking Crew to the lift attendants my family and I had a great time, we were only there for 4 hours which is great because it takes that long to go up north!

Wachusett mountain is a mountain located in mid-western Mass, whcih houses over 10 slopes, a lodge, and pseudo-summer activities. The mountain itself is not bad, the slopes have varying degrees of dificulty, some steep, some weak, but the major problem with this mountain is the price.Charging the same for a daily fee as other real mountains, they expect to be treated the same despite the fact that their peaks are some 400 meters smaller than their Maine competitors. The only way to use this mountain and not hate yourself for it is to buy the season pass. The food as well is mediocre, with very high price tags. Overall, its a place to ski if you need to, but if youre going to pay 50$ a day, go somewhere bigger.

The mountain at 2000ft offers spectacular views of monadnock on north, boston skyline on east on a clear day. This located on rt 140 in Princeton. There are couple of hiking trails with the fastest one taking to the summit in 45 minutes. There is an auto-road as well to the summit. TKids will like the little pond with goldfish. here are picnic benches at the base and summit.
